OUTFIT IDEA | HOW TO WEAR RED in 2024
The days are getting brighter, and the birds are chirping outside my window, signaling the arrival of spring. I'm excited about incorporating more color into my wardrobe, although I've found styling red to be a bit challenging. While adding accents of red through a knit sweater, handbag, or socks is simple, wearing red from head to toe presents a greater styling challenge.
This red pleated dress from COS is stunning with its long skirt and halter-style top. Pairing it with the right transitional coat is essential, and I've found a beautiful off-white coat from The Frankie Shop that complements it perfectly. I've opted for mesh flats from Alaia to tone down the dressiness of the outfit, giving it a more effortless yet chic look. To complement the simple lines of the outfit, I've layered on chunky gold jewelry. Lastly, the Jil Sander Cannolo bag in lizard print adds a soft contrast against the vibrant red.
