Why The Mustang GT Is THE Car for Date Night

Guest author: Geoff Martin
Iβve been very fortunate over the past few years working together with Nathalie to create content and help bring inspiration and knowledge to people wanting to know more on fashion, beauty and lifestyle. Nathalie is the driving force behind WoahStyle but I am the ever present husband behind the scenes helping to bring you her vision.
Mustang GT looking all sleek at dusk.
Occasionally though, she will surprise me with the βfun stuffβ. And by fun stuff, I mean perks of the job like cars, getaways or date nights out that we can share together. Thatβs why when she surprised me with a 2019 GT Premium Convertible Mustang for the weekend to cruise around in, hit up our favourite restaurants and be tourists in our own town, I nearly lost my shit. So on this occasion she has asked me to step out from behind the lens and write my first ever article on my thoughts from the weekend, and I am more than happy to do so.
Wearing an oversized Madewell denim jacket.
We couldnβt have asked for a nicer weekend to have a convertible, and so we totally made full use of it by driving with the top down! There is something intangible yet exhilarating about driving with no barrier between you and the outside world that just connects you more to the drive rather than the destination. And so we took the long way around or decided to veer off course when we might have seen something that caught our interest.
Our destination this particular weekend was the Dundas area because it sits nestled right underneath the Niagara escarpment where we have found good food and fun shops. And then right nearby are many parks and trails with multiple waterfalls and lookout points for you to explore.

For dinner, we went to The French in a nearby upscale historic district of Hamilton, and ordered what felt like everything on the menu. We started with the beet & chevre salad, then for the mains Nathalie had the vegetable paella, I had the salmon and we shared a gnocchi dish. Finally, for desert we shared a vanilla crΓ¨me brΓ»lΓ©e and their βopera cakeβ which consists of almonds, coffee, chocolate and blackberry. Such a fun dinner.
FORD MUSTANG GT 2019
The car itself is crazy, and in my opinion is a beast for the price. At just over $50k, you are getting a 5 litre, 460hp, 420 ft. lb torque automobile, with a 10-speed select shift automatic transmission. This is not your standard automobile!
It looks as bad ass as it sounds too with 18β alloy wheels, optional leather interior, and a new 12β LDC digital instrument cluster with ambient lighting and display called MyColour, which lets you take control of everything you see. Then at night thereβs even a mustang projected on the ground, like a kind of welcome mat for your home as you unlock and enter the car. For the drive, thereβs also a new lane keeping system included to help alert you if you go out of your lane.
Nathalie wearing Madewell oversized denim jacket, Aritzia bodysuit, leather trousers, Birkenstock sandals, and YSL sunglasses.
My only wish would have been to drive a standard transmission, as I believe that this is how any true sports car should be driven. Despite this, I was still able to have fun using the paddle shifters in sport mode which helped me quench my desire for some manual control.
Nathalie wearing a Balenciaga shirt and Everyday XXS tote bag, Burberry shorts, Birkenstock sandals and YSL sunglasses.
One recommendation I have would be for Ford to make the key fob a bit smaller. It was annoyingly large and heavy compared to the key fobs Iβm used to carrying. When paired with my already large janitor size key ring, it made it all but impossible to carry in my pocket. Therefore, I found myself either carrying the keys in my hands or giving them to Nathalie to put in her purse, which I donβt think she liked though because she claimed it was wreaking her Balenciaga. A small price to pay for driving a Mustang GT I think!
In general, I have to say that I have never been a muscle car kind of guy, but this car made me change my tune. Itβs a comfortable and smooth ride, but has the power of a true muscle car which is the best of both luxury and sport. The engine noise is melodic yet ominous with its deep gurgling rumble as if ready to take off at a momentβs notice.
Nathalie and Geoff.
All in all, it was a great weekend. The Ford GT forced our inner explorer to come out, by being a tourist in our own city. Itβs certainly a statement car, from its looks, to its sound, to its power, and surely got us noticed everywhere we went and I canβt say that I minded the attention. After returning the car, I totally forgot how high I typically sit in my SUV and it made me wish I was back MY Mustang GT! Please give me my Mustang back!

Anndore House Staycation with Bonlook
Iβve needed corrective lenses since my early teens. The optometrist said I would only need them for a few years but my prescription hasnβt changed much since then. Around the time I got married, I switched to contacts because I didnβt want to wear glasses on my wedding day and I also wanted to see Geoff when I walked down the aisle. Anyway, that didnβt last long. I chucked them all after waking up with a wicked case of pink eye one morning. Even though I was religious about washing my hands and sterilizing my contacts, bacteria invaded my eyes to the point where I couldnβt even open them. I havenβt touched contact lenses since. These days even my sunglasses have my prescription.
Beauty essentials; CHANEL 3D mascara, eyeshadow, and hand cream. For skincare Iβve been using Eve Lomβs cleanser and Olayβs Daily Facial Cleansing Cloths for removing makeup, followed by their new facial Mist. For my hair, Iβve been love, love, loving, the T3 SinglePass Curl.
For our staycation with Bonlook we stayed at the Anndore House in Toronto, just around the corner from the Yorkville area. Even if you donβt have a chance to stay at the hotel, I would highly recommend their restaurant, Constantine. Breakfast and dinner here is divine and we plan on going back soon. The staff is friendly and helpful while the decor is gorgeous.
CHANELβS No 5 is probably my all time favourite scent. Itβs beautiful, unique, and elegant. The purse spray is excellent for travel but the limited edition red bottle is so exquisite Iβll probably keep it on display long after itβs gone.
Decisions, decisions. Iβve amassed quite the glasses collection from Bonlook. Because I wear prescription glasses and sunnies I might as well have fun with them. Just like I donβt wear the same shoes everyday (itβs a quirk of mine), Iβll change my frames up often.
Bonlook also has blue light protection lenses which shield eyes from the blue light of computers. Geoff happens to be one of those lucky humans with 20/20 vision but he works on a computer all day so he picked up a pair of these and loves them.
An impromptu shopping session with Michael led me to this stunning cropped Balenciaga sweater. It was already on my radar and the fact it happened to be the last one in the store sealed the deal. The grey and black makes it a seamless addition to my wardrobe and I love how it looks with my new Way sunglasses from Bonlook.

Current Faves
Iβm all about simplifying everything in my life these days from makeup and skincare, to what I wear. Iβm all about a glowing complexion, rosy cheeks, a pink mouth, and a swipe of mascara.
They say it's the little things that make you happy and that couldn't be truer. Just the other day I was at Nordstrom doing some Xmas shopping when I decided to pick up the holiday edition Diptyque candle set.
The blue one, called Amber Balm is my favourite of the three limited edition scents. With notes of vanilla, benzoin, and lavender, it has an elegant scent that lingers and lifts my mood.
I started reading fiction again after picking up Patti Smithβs book Devotion on one of our road trips. We came across this quaint bookstore in Dundas, Ontario and I couldnβt resist picking up a few things. I havenβt read fiction in a while as Iβve been wholly into biographies and self-development books but something about Patti's writing left an impression on me. Sheβs probably one of the most beautiful writers Iβve come across and I'm looking forward to reading more of her works.
Well, thatβs all for now. I hope youβre all doing well.
Make sure you stay tuned to my IG Stories as I've been holding a series of contests this holiday season! I have plenty of cool contests coming up so make sure youβre following me on @_nathaliemartin.

My Travel Beauty Routine + What to Pack
Question; do you have a packing list or do you just wing it every time you travel?
Under the Notes app in my iPhone I have a packing list, although I never seem to use it and inevitability I forget something. It's only when I'm in the hotel when I realize that Iβve only packed one pair of socks, forgot my PJβs, or didn't bring a hairbrush.
But itβs the time I forgot to pack foundation that really annoyed me because I was on a press trip and needed to look pulled together.
BEAUTY TRAVEL HACK: carefully placed concealer will be your savior if you ever forget foundation.
SKINCARE ROUTINE
I can pack my outfits quickly because I know my style well. I describe it as rocker-chic casual with a bit of leather mixed in for glam.
Packing my beauty routine on the other hand seems to take an eternity. Even though I have my pre-packed skincare bag ready at the drop of a hat, I always dump it out and do a quick inventory check to see if anything needs replacing.
BEAUTY TRAVEL HACK: Hold on to those samples! They'll save you money and time in the long run. Have a pre-packed bag full of sample-sized beauty products ready to go so you donβt forget essentials like serum, moisturizer, cleanser, etc.
SKINCARE PACKING LIST
Waterproof make-up remover
Facial cleanser
Serum
Olay Brightening Eye Cream
Lip balm
Olay Fragrance-Free WHIPS with SPF 25
Olay MIST. (Keep this one in your handbag so you can mist your face and keep your skin hydrated on the plane.)
Olay Clay Stick Masks (These masks are revolutionary because you apply them straight from the stick to your face. No accidental spills in your makeup bag!)
HOW I KEEP MY SKIN GLOWING WHILE I TRAVEL
I canβt stress the importance of water and keeping your body hydrated. Planes have such bad air quality and travel can be exhausting.
I also try to eat well to keep my immune system up and my skin balanced. Otherwise keeping your skin glowing during your travels is actually pretty simple.
1. Always take your makeup off at night, no matter how tired you are.
2. Moisturize night and day and make sure you use youβre using SPF. (You all know I love my Olay WHIPS with SPF! I even have Geoff using it.)
3. Use a face mask to draw out impurities from your travels. Between the plane and the pollution of city life, itβs a good idea to detox your skin have some "me time" after a long day. Draw a hot bath, slather on the new Olay Pore Detox Mask and fire up some Netflix. Your skin will thank you because itβll be soft, clearer, and glowing.
BEAUTY TRAVEL HACK: Keep a face mist in your handbag to keep your skin hydrated on the plane. Much more subtle than sheet masking on the plane. ;)
All of Olayβs new Clay Stick Masks are super easy to apply making it perfect mask when traveling. Theyβre formulated with Kaolin clay to draw out impurities and glycerin to keep skin hydrated and soft.
The Pore Detox Mask contains black charcoal making it idea for the T-zone since it reduces the size of pores.
The Fresh Reset Mask is a micro-polishing mask that gently buffs away surface clogging cells and transforms tired skin into a calm, fresh looking complexion.
The Glow Boost Mask transforms uneven lackluster skin into a natural healthy glow by removing the buildup of dead skin cells.
Olay Face Mask Sticks are available at Wal-Mart stores and walmart.com
MY MAKEUP BAG
Packing my makeup bag is a whole other beast and the thought of leaving my eyebrow pencil at home is enough to make me cry. From forgetting foundation to that time I forgot my eyelash curler, Iβve learned that having doubles of everything is ideal when traveling often.
MAKEUP PACKING LIST
Foundation, concealer, and powder
Eyelash curler + waterproof mascara
Eyebrow pencil + setting gel
Rosy pink blush + bright pink blush for get that healthy flushed from within look
Nude lipstick + red lipstick for a night out
I hope that sharing my travel beauty helps you perfect your own routine. My packing list might seem like a lot but keep in mind that sample size products are best when it comes to saving space. And remember to take care of your skin when traveling! Bon Voyage!

My New York Trip with FRESH & Astrologist, Susan Miller
Fans of Fresh Beautyβs zodiac collection may be familiar with the name Susan Miller of astrologyzone.com and their previous collabs. Well, the brand has collaborated with my favourite astrologist again this year for a limited edition, zodiac version of their Sugar Lip Treatments.
Just in time for the holidays, these lip balms make excellent stocking stuffers. Theyβre also great as a little token gift for that person in your life who you want to wish Happy Holidays but donβt want to overboard on. Think - your boss, the host at the holiday party youβre attending, or your kids teacher. Trust me, during the harsh winter months theyβll be super grateful for their zodiac lip balm.
To celebrate the launch of their on going collab with Susan Miller, Fresh invited me to New York to hear her talk about the year ahead according to astrology. Below youβll find my travel pics during my stay along with my visit to the Fresh Beauty Kitchen store in SoHo. If you havenβt been yet, Iβd highly recommend it as the boutique is adorable with a quaint Anthropologie vibe.
CHECKED-IN, THE LUDLOW HOTEL, NYC
A bag full of Fresh goodies waiting for me upon check-in. The brand was super considerate about what I would be hauling back home in my carry-on and only included travel sized products in my goodie bag. LOVE!
Iβve turned into the master of packing comfortable yet versatile outfits. Here Iβm wearing a navy H&M sweatshirt, Leviβs 711 skinny jeans, and the Isabel Marant loafers that I picked up on my last trip to New York. I accessorized with my gold aviator Bonlook frames and tan coloured leather Hermes bracelet.
This is my second time staying at The Ludlow in New York but the first time staying in one of those very Instagrammable bathrooms with a tub! Sadly I didnβt use it but I certainly appreciated the window and natural light for my photos. I should also mention that Iβm totally wild about the decor in this hotel. I used it as inspiration when decorating my living room and guest bathroom.
FRESH HOLIDAY EVENT 2018, NEW YORK
My first holiday event of the year dressed in black and white of course. Fresh has come out with an array of gorgeous gift sets to suit all skincare lovers on your wish list. My fave, the Nonstop Radiance gift set. It includes the Soy Face Cleanser, Lotus Youth Preserve Rescue Mask, Vitamin C Antioxidant Glow Face Mist, Lotus Youth Preserve Moisturizer and Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment in travel friendly sizes for $76. All of Freshβs holiday sets are limited edition.
FRESH BEAUTY KITCHEN, NEW YORK
Last stop on our trip, the Fresh Beauty Kitchen store in SoHo. This boutique is jam packed with all of the Fresh skincare you can imagine. Itβs also very different from the store on Broadway, which has a more polished feel. The Beauty Kitchen is more quaint, with vibe thatβs very similar to Anthropologie.
Make sure you check out the small batch artisanal jams at this location. The flavours are to die for and make excellent hostess gifts for the holiday season. I came home with six jars of the Cherry & Apricot flavour.
I used to be a visual merchandising manager at Anthro so I really appreciated all of the details that Fresh put into the Beauty Kitchen. From the vintage weight scale, to the SMEG fridge full of skincare and fruit, to the Sugar Lip Treatment table, no detail was left unnoticed.
Actually, when I was photographing the store I realized all of fresh roses had been gently misted with water to give the appearance of dew drops!
MY HORROR-SCOPE STORY
Iβve been following Susan Millerβs Astrology Zone since a friend introduced me to her five years ago. I was religious about planning my month around what Susan wrote according to my sign, Sagittarius. I know, it sounds kinda nuts but I found comfort in what she wrote.
Anyway, I got so intense about my horoscope that I completely changed my plans for Christmas one year because Susan had written to stay close to home.
She said something ominous about βbad things happeningβ and to βstay safeβ (at least thatβs how I remember it), so I opted out of the dinner plans that Iβd already been apprehensive about and made alternate plans for that day.
That particular winter was horrible and it was snowing almost every day. Conditions where clear that morning so Diana and I decided to drive into the city for some shopping. We were looking for some pre-loved Louis Vuitton pieces and I ended up getting a tote from the 90βs, which I eventually gave to my mother, and Diana got some super cute wristlet that she still uses today.
We finished at around noon and headed back home. It started snowing while we were shopping and the roads were now slippery so I knew I had to drive carefully.
It took one bad decision on the highway as I made a lane change and BAM, I slammed into the car in front of me.
I felt horrible and sick to my stomach.
Diana is a Sagittarius too so we share the same horoscope. Susan had told us to stay close to home and we didnβt.
Looking back that was possibly the worst year of my life. That car accident was just the icing on the cake.
My beloved grandmother had passed away earlier that year. We had a house fire that summer because the contractors had carelessly rushed some electrical work. Geoff got laid off from the company he had been working at for 13 years. Geoffβs grandfather got sick and passed away soon after. Geoff got shingles because of the stress from losing his grandfather and his job.
Oh, Iβm not done yet.
Our neighbor's car somehow reversed out of his parking spot and CRASHED into our car that happened to be parked in our driveway. I know, how does that even happen? And finally, I got into not one, but two accidents on the highway thanks to the daily snow dumps. It was awful.
By the end of the year, I was done. I remember breaking down and crying hysterically.
But thatβs the thing, all of that shit makes you stronger in the end and I told myself I would never let things to me like that again. Sure, death is one thing but I just remember feeling so hopeless and out of control with my life in every situation.
The next year I changed my mindset and regained control how I react to life in the moment of crisis and it changed everything. I left my full-time job and started freelancing and started traveling more. It took Geoff a year because we were still feeling the ripple effect of the recession, but he eventually found himself a new job just a ten minute drive from our home. (A total change from his two hours a day commute from the last thirteen years.)
That saying about βwhen life gives you lemons, make lemonadeβ rings some truth. I stopped reading so much into my horoscope after that. Iβll still read it here and there but I never want to get to the point where Iβm rearranging my life because it told me to stay close to home.
I mean, the car accident happened. Again, my life lesson that year was changing my outlook. I learned itβs the one thing we can control and when we feel lost and hopeless, it makes us feel more powerful and confident and Iβm pretty sure I asked Susan, she would agree.

LINCOLN ROAD TRIP
Iβve never been in a vehicle more comfortable than the Lincoln Navigator. While itβs actually a behemoth of an SUV that seats seven, it feels as luxurious as cozying up in bed under the fluffiest duvet. Just press the massage button found on the driver and passenger side and youβll see what I mean.
My friends fondly nicknamed it the βNapigatorβ after taking numerous naps in the back seat. This coming from someone who used to adamantly stood behind the belief that he βcanβt nap in carsβ. So much for that.
Aside from the cozy leather interior, the Navigator puts on quite the show from the exterior. It lights up to welcome you back as you walk back to the car thanks to the sensor found in the key fob, which by the way, can be customized so that each driver has their own personal seat and mirror settings.
Overall itβs a beautifully designed vehicle with all of the comforts and luxury one could ever want from a car. Geoff and I had the pleasure to drive a Porsche last year on the Mosport Race Track and dare I say, the Lincoln beats it in terms of everyday driving and comfort.

Glamping with BURT'S BEES
Glamping; modern luxury camping for people terrified of roughing it out with real camping. AKA, me.
Instead of sleeping in a tent on a blow up mattress, or worse yet, a sleeping bag on the ground, glamping means cozying up to a king sized bed and fluffy duvet at night. Sure, the concept borders on ridiculous for real campers but for someone like me who loves the outdoors without roughing, itβs actually perfect.
On a rainy October morning we headed to Whispering Springs for a night of glamping with the Burtβs Bees team to chat about their upcoming launches.
Fans of the brand will be happy to learn their makeup line is expanding in a big way to include liquid lipsticks, highlight sticks, and an extended colour range of foundation and concealer. For skincare, a new facial oil, body wash, and more face sheet masks will be added.
BTW - I used the Lavender & Honey body wash in my bath that night and it was divine. It smelled natural and didnβt irritate my skin.
Keep reading for more on my glamping experience at Whispering Springs and for more on the Burtβs Bees.
New Burtβs Bees Makeup
Sneak peak at some early 2019 Burtβs Bees launches - highlight stick, new foundation shades, concealer, and liquid lipsticks are amongst their growing line of natural makeup. Their skincare range will expand to include body wash, sheet masks, and a new facial oil.
What Iβm Wearing
Aritzia Neelam red plaid jacket. Uniqlo navy striped shirt and HeatTech hat. Leviβs skinny jeans. Cougar Kismet rubber moto boots. Bonlook gold aviator eyeglasses.
Lunch is Served
Our meals at Whispering Springs were inspired by the natural ingredients found in Burtβs Bees products such as apricot and honey. We ate under the main tent which also featured a small bar.
What To Expect Glamping at Whispering Springs
Nature and luxury are in harmony here at Whispering Springs. They offer yoga, massages, nature hikes, volleyball, and have a hot tub on site. Make sure you bring cozy knits and warm layers this time of year.
Each room at Whispering Springs contains a bathtub. (Sorry bath haters, no showers on site). I ended the day with a hot soak full with bubbles from the new Burtβs Bees Lavender & Honey body wash. I also tried the Detoxifying Charcoal sheet mask for the first time and moisturized my lips with the Overnight Lip Treatment.
WHAT TO BRING & WHAT TO WEAR FOR GLAMPING
In my opinion glamping in the fall is better than the dead of summer because at least you can throw layers on and take them off as needed. There is no escaping the summer heat and mosquitoes so you take that for what itβs worth.
Surprisingly I didnβt bring a ton of clothes and brought only a single pair of shoes - rain boots. Trust me, thatβs all youβll need. It gets muddy this time of year so leave those cute shoes at home.
GLAMPING ESSENTIALS
THERMAL LAYERS. Uniqlo makes the best ones with their HeatTech collection of tops, bottoms, and accessories. It kept me warm in Northen Iceland so you can bet it kept me warm glamping in Ontario.
WARM ACCESSORIES. Hats, socks, gloves, scarves.
SWEATERS. One good one is really all you need. I love one that covers my neck so I can forfeit the scarf.
LONG SLEEVED TOPS, JEANS, AND OR LEGGINGS.
RAIN COAT. Because umbrellas are too cumbersome when glamping.
WARM COAT. I opted for a wool coat from Aritzia that Iβve had forever.
WATERPROOF SHOES. I wore my Cougar rubber shoes. Theyβre badass because they look like motorcycle boots but theyβre actually rain boots. Genius.
Depending on the time of year, you should consider outdoor staples such as bug repellent, sunscreen.
Also consider travel essentials like a toothbrush, toothpaste, and everyday toiletries - facial cleanser, moisturizer, eye cream, etc. Whispering Springs has you covered with bath towels, robes, and mini shampoo, body wash, and body lotion.
Ten glamping tents can be found at Whispering Springs. Each room features a cozy king sized bed, heater, mini fridge, coffee maker, bathtub, sink, and toilet.
Glamping essentials: my aluminum AWAY carry-on with monogram stickers full of warm layers.
Staying true to the glamping theme, Whispering Springs delivers breakfast to your tent in a picnic basket containing fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, a croissant, butter, jam, OJ, and milk. Plates and culterly can be found in the room as well as the coffee machine for your morning brew.
MAKING OUR OWN BURTβS BEES CUSTOM LIPSTICKS
On the second day we got to make our own custom lipsticks with the help of Burtβs Bees Chemist, Abeena. This is my second time meeting her and Iβm convinced sheβs the most badass woman around. She walked us through the process and how they test the shelf life of their natural products. With a base of beeswax and apricot oil, we added pigments after pigment to get the shades we wanted.
I made three shades of red lipsticks varying from blue red, orange red, and russet. Are you actually surprised?
DISCLAIMER: Special thanks to Burtβs Bees and Whispering Springs for the stay.

My Productive Morning Routine feat. Melitta Coffee
An hour before work your alarm goes off. You hit snooze. Not once, but twice. Forty minutes is enough time to shower and get ready right?
On your way to work, you're groggy, cranky and irritable. I feel you. That was me for most of my adult life.
I started reading about articles on how the most successful people are morning risers and get more done by 9am then most of us doing a day. They aptly call it, CEO mornings. I mean, if thatβs the case then it was worth trying it out right?
I began converting myself to an early bird by retiring for bed at 9pm so I could be ready to conquer the day bright and early at 5am. The first couple of days sucked but soon my body got used to the routine and I looked forward to it.
Sadly, I wasnβt able to keep at it past a month but if I learned something hugely important from my CEO mornings in how to structure successfully structure my day. These days Iβm up at 7am but I stick to my morning routine almost every single day.
1. MORNING JOURNALING
Writing down a conscious stream of thought right when you wake up is said to help your mind and keep you on track with your personal goals. Iβve been doing this for about a month now and I find on the days that I skip it, I feel like Iβm lacking direction. Aim to fill three pages.
2. WATER
Hydrate your body with a tall glass of water upon getting out of bed. I get night sweats (ew I know) so I need water first thing. I actually wonβt even drink my morning coffee without having water first. Bonus points for adding lemon or apple cider vinegar to your H2O.
3. EXERCISE
My retired neighbor Bert said it best, βmotion is lotionβ, LOL. Keep your body active with at least 30 mins of exercise a day. Go with what works for you - HIIT, dancing, walking, strength training, itβs all for the better good.
4. GET READY
Whether your working from home or working in an office with others, get ready for your day like you mean it. Run a brush through your hair and put on some cute shoes that add a skip to your step. If you look good and feel good, chances are youβll be more confident and happier.
5. BREAKFAST
Having a protein filled breakfast in the morning will keep you fuller longer and itβll keep your mind from wondering about what sugary snacks hiding in the kitchen. The proper fuel for your body means youβre not eating as much in between meals.
6. COFFEE
This is an obvious one. Instead of caffeinating myself first thing in the morning I wait until after Iβve exercised and showered before having my first cup. My current obsession is the Melitta Heritage Pour Over series. All you have to do is pour boiling water into the top filter with your freshly ground coffee beans and voila. I throw the filter and beans into the compost once Iβm done because I read somewhere that compost loves coffee. (Who doesnβt?) Plus, it hardly takes up space in my kitchen and looks super cute on display.

I'm back on YouTube + Mini Bathroom Tour & CHANEL makeup tutorial
Anyone who has been following along with my Instagram Stories knows that Geoff and I have been busy renovating our guest bathroom. This has been a total DIY job from start to finish - from hammering out the concrete to doing the plumbing and electrical. We're very lucky because both of our fathers have experience in this area and out helped a lot. Even the badass tiling work you see behind the vanity here was done by Geoff and I. We're just total DIYers over here at Casa WoahStyle! LOL.
We're about 90% done at this stage with only a single wall of built-in shelves that needs to be finished. Needless to say, we're happy to see it coming together and I can't wait to give you guys a proper bathroom tour when it's done.
For the bathroom design, I was inspired by my travels and visits to some of my favourite hotels - 21C in Cincinnati, Ludlow Hotel in NY and Litli Geysir Hotel in Iceland. I wanted clean lines and neutral colour palette to make guests feel more at home.
Actually, my real motive was to create a bathroom that was totally Instagrammable and beautiful to shoot blog content in. The reality is family only stays with us about once a year so it's actually my space now. Most importantly, we're adding value to our house by having an extra bathroom.
Anyway, I'm really happy with it so far. I find the space so inspiring that I dusted off the ol' ring light and decided to shoot my first video in what has been ages. Make sure you press play K?
Without giving away too much, the video features items from the CHANEL Les Beiges Collection, which launches May 1.
I'm totally smitten with all of the products here, but if I had to pick a must-have for spring/summer, it would be the LES BEIGES HEALTHY GLOW LUMINOUS MULTI-COLOUR POWDER.
Even if you decide to skip blush for the day, this powder does wonders for your complexion and instantly warms the face. Plus, how beautiful is the packaging? It comes with its own brush that's equally as chic. It is limited edition though so if you guys want to pick it up, be sure to get on it.
