6 STUNNING Fall Fragrances To Wear Right Now (and all the time actually)
Each season a ton of new fragrances flood the scene with their glossy sleek bottles and promise of a better life. Some of the ads can be downright comical in the way brands push perfumes on us. (Who's seen that Dolce & Gabbana ad where the guy is in a boat wearing the white Speedo with his crotch thrust towards the camera? I rest my case.)
Needless to say, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by it all, which is why I've gathered up six impressive scents. I’ve included some newbies to the scene, as well as some classics, and broke them down into personality types to help you find something delicious to wear this fall. Happy fragrance hunting!
SHOP FALL SCENTS
ONE. GIORGIO ARMANI SI FIORI
PERSONALITY: Warm, Feminine, Floral
NOTES: Opens with Blackcurrant, Orange Blossom at the core, warm Vanilla at the base.
This beautiful bottle is lacquered in a light nude pink to signify the femininity of the scent. Si Fiori “offers the unexpected union of blackcurrant nectar and mandarin to create a fresh and balanced composition.” If you’re into mysterious, yet romantic, warm floral scents, make sure to check this one out. It is the fifth fragrance in the Si collection.
TWO. YSL LIBRE
PERSONALITY: Warm & Floral
NOTES: Lavender Essence from France, Orange Blossom from Morocco, Complemented by a daring note of Musk Accord.
With Dua Lipa as the ambassador for YSL’s newest fragrance, Libre, you can already guess this one is for the majorly badass individual. (Libre means ‘freedom’ in french after all.) It’s a warm floral based fragrance that features lavender from France, orange blossom from Morocco with a daring musk accord. If you’re into warm, bold scents, check this one out. It feels familiar and contemporary at all once. Bonus, that sleek bottle with the YSL Cassandre logo is sure to make any Saint Laurent fan weak in the knees.
THREE. MAISON MARGEILA REPLICA Jazz Club
PERSONALITY: Warm & Spicy
NOTES: Pink Pepper, Rum Absolute, Tobacco Leaf Absolute
The label says “male fragrance” but there are plenty of women out there with an affinity for this warm and spicy scent, myself included. While perfectly suitable to wear any time of the year, Maison Margiela's Jazz Club particularly stands out in the cooler months. I’m always reminded up cozying up by the fire with a glass of whiskey in hand anytime I smell it.
FOUR. Narciso Rodriguez For Her
PERSONALITY: Warm, Sensual, Feminine.
NOTES: Honey Flower, Solar Musk, Orange Blossom, Osmanthus, Amberlyn, Vanilla, Tactile Musk, Tactile Woods, Vetiver.
Mysterious, unforgettable, feminine, and sophisticated. Narciso Rodriguez For Her has the heart of musk, in its floral, amber, and woody notes. The For Her Oil Musc is featured in my photos here, but the scent comes in a variety of forms such as eau de toilette, eau de parfum, rollerball, body lotion, shower gel, and hair mist.
FIVE. CHANEL Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum Intense
PERSONALITY: Warm Floral.
NOTES: Patchouli, Tonka Bean, Vanilla Absolute.
Sensual, powerful and irresistible, CHANEL’S Coco Mademoiselle Intense perfume includes notes of patchouli, a feminine Amber accord, and an intoxicating blend of Tonka Bean, and Vanilla from Madagascar.
SIX. TOM FORD Santal Blush
PERSONALITY: Earthy & Woody.
NOTES: Cinnamon Bark Oil, Ylang-Ylang, Australian Sandalwood.
Another one to enjoy all year round, Tom Ford’s Santal Blush is worth every dollar. It’s mysterious, exotic, spicy, textured with creamy sandalwood and intoxicating florals. It’s truly unique and will be sure to get you noticed.
